2021 (Redshirt Freshman)

Appeared in 15 games for the Blue Wave with 10 starts. Reached base safely in 6 games. Went 3-3 with a double and 3 RBI against Lake Sumter State College on March 26. Finished the season with a 1.000 fielding percentage in the outfield. Named to 2020-2021 Mid-Florida Conference All-Academic Team and the 2020-2021 FCSAA All-Academic Team.

Prior to FSCJ (Daytona State College)

Appeared in 15 games for Daytona State before the 2020 season was cancelled due to COVID. Named to the 2019-2020 Mid-Florida Conference All-Academic Baseball Team.

High School

Attended Yulee High School in Yulee, Florida, where he was a big contributor for the Hornets at the plate, finishing his senior season leading the team in triples (2), doubles (5), runs scored (18), and at bats (96), and finishing second in hits (21). As a junior, hit .391 with a .505 OBP, 33 hits, 18 runs, 19 RBI, and 15 stolen bases. Helped YHS to a 21-10 record and a District Championship as a junior in 2018, collecting 3 hits and scoring 2 runs in the championship game against Bishop Kenny. Named 2018 Second Team All-First Coast, 2018 All-Nassau County, 2019 All- Nassau County Honorable Mention, 2019 Rawlings Perfect Game Pre-Season All-Region, and 2019 Jacksonville.com Top 5 Players. Selected as the 2018 and 2019 Yulee Coaches Award Recipient. Was high school teammates with fellow FSCJ players Andrew Myers, Josh Green, and Ian Cochran. Played for Coach Fred Matricardi. Was an honor student and a member of the National Honor Society. Also played football where he was a member of the 2016 District Championship Team.

Full name is Tyler Charles Green. Born November 10, 2000, in Jacksonville, Florida. Son of Ronnie and Teri Green, and Wendy Green. Has two brothers, Josh and Heath, and a sister, Hope. Brother Josh also plays for the Blue Wave. Enjoys being with family, playing video games, and fishing. Already graduated with an Associates in Arts Degree. Majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Committed to Savannah State University to play baseball.
