Media Guide

Athletic Communications at Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) provides the media and the public with current information regarding our varsity teams to generate understanding, promotion, and support for the athletic department.

INTERVIEW PROCEDURES

Interviews with FSCJ coaches and student-athletes are encouraged, and every effort will be made to accommodate media requests. Advanced notice will help ensure that your request will be handled efficiently. Players may not be interviewed on game day once they enter the locker room or athletic training room. All requests for interviews of any student-athlete or coach must be made through athletics@fscj.edu

PHOTO REQUESTS

Athletic Communications regularly posts albums to the FSCJ Flickr page with limited rights reserved. Other high-resolution head shots of coaches and student-athletes can be provided upon request. Contact athletics@fscj.edu with requests.

BREAKING NEWS

All athletics news and results are available by following our department's X (Twitter) account @fscjmantarays or the account of the programs:

LIVE EVENT COVERAGE

Coverage of FSCJ athletic events is encouraged and every effort will be made to accommodate media outlets and visiting communication staffers. Please contact us at least 24 hours prior to the event to arrange seating and other necessities related to coverage.

POSTGAME REPORTS

If your institution is visiting FSCJ for a sporting event, Athletic Communications will gladly distribute the game news release to your athletic communications staff and your local media. Please contact athletics@fscj.edu prior to the event with a list of postgame media outlets you would like emailed.
