BlueWave tops USC-Sumter in second meeting

The BlueWave faced USC-Sumter in back to back games in game two of the USC-Sumter Tournament. The meeting the night prior resulted in a 2-1 loss in a walk-off situation. The FSCJ BlueWave were definitely out to even the score. 

FSCJ notched their first run of the game off a wild pitch that allowed the BlueWave to cross one over home plate. The second inning saw the most action from FSCJ when they tallied four runs in the second inning. Sebastian Dunn, Shane McCormack and Chad Ragland each drove in runs during the inning. FSCJ added another run in the third while USC-Sumter answered back scoring four runs. The score now 6-4 the BlueWave added another run for security and they would be thankful they did. USC-Sumter was not going down without a fight adding another two runs before all was said and done. The BlueWave watched a six run lead whittle down by the seventh inning and held out to pull off a 7-6 win in a failed comeback by USC-Sumter. 

Tyler Naumann earned the win for FSCJ and Dalton Terrell recorded the last seven outs to earn the save for the BlueWave. FSCJ racked up seven hits with Dunn and Ragland collecting multiple hits.
