Fireworks rang out early in game one of the day, as crooked numbers became the norm for the home team.

A 7-spot in the bottom of the 1st set the tone. After a Billy Girgis leadoff walk and stolen base, Alex Monile punched a single through the right side to score the game's first run. Noah Wood followed with an RBI single of his own to plate Monile. Three bases loaded hit-by-pitches in a row advanced three more runs home courtesy of Dylan Greene, Pedro Morales, and Isaac Newman. A Girgis RBI fielder's choice and a wild pitch scored the next two runs.

5 more runs came home for the BlueWave in the 2nd inning on RBI singles by Greene and Morales, before Newman roped an RBI double down the right field line. The final 5 runs came in the 3rd inning, with Greene mashing a bases-clearing double, Braden Kessel taking a bases loaded HBP, and Matt Retamoza singling home the last run.

Wood led the offense with 3 hits. Retamoza, Greene, and Newman also had multi-hit games. Greene had a season-high 6 RBI.

Dylan Peck (1-3) was masterful on the mound, going the first 3 innings, allowing 0 runs on 0 hits, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts. Joshua Rouw pitched the last 2 innings, allowing 0 runs on 2 hits, 1 walk, and 2 strikeouts.

Game two of the day started much of the way that game one did, with FSCJ plating 6 runs in the bottom of the 1st. Two runs came across via wild pitches before Brooks Hicken singled home Dylan Greene. Sean Esquinaldo crushed his first career home run over the left field fence to bring home two more runs. Billy Girgis had an RBI single for the 6th run.

In the 2nd, Esquinaldo again went to deep left, this time for a double off the wall, scoring one. Pedro Morales doubled to left-center to score two more and make the score 9-0. A single run came across in the 3rd on a wild pitch. The final three runs for the Wave came on Isaac Newman's first career home run to deep right field, making the score 13-0 in the 4th. EWU took advantage of a FSCJ fielding error in the 5th to score and make the final 13-1.

Girgis led the team with 3 hits. Esquinaldo and Newman had multi-hit games.

Gant Geiger (4-2) earned the win as the starter for FSCJ, throwing 2 innings, allowing 0 runs on 1 hit, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts. Ethan Wilford, Dylan Cope, and Jayden Long all threw an inning of relief with 0 earned runs.
