In Walk-Off, FSCJ BlueWave Baseball Loses To Walters State Commuinty College

FSCJ BlueWave Baseball fell to Walters State Commuinty College 4-3 on Saturday on the final play of the game.

Florida State College at Jacksonville faced Walters State Community College in the final game of the USC-Sumter Tournament. The first few innings showed little action, it wasn't until the top of the third when the BlueWave's offensive came alive. FSCJ tallied two runs to the take the lead early on then added another in the top of the fifth. Walters State answered back to even things up at three in the bottom of the fifth inning when a single on a 2-2 count led to two runs scoring. With the game tied at three and Walters State batting in the bottom of the seventh, a sac fly scored one run to seal the win. The BlueWave fell 4-3 in the final play of the game. 

Gabriel Sevillano stood in the pitchers mound for the BlueWave and Brandon Cruz came out of the bullpen in relief. Alex Vazquez went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead FSCJ in hits.
