South Georgia State picks up win despite FSCJ offensive efforts

BlueWave drop home game 6-3 to South Georgia State College despite out-hitting them seven to five.

The BlueWave tallied three runs in the sixth inning, putting the pressure on with a groundout by Tyler Prell and a double by Logan Nugent.

Thompson led things off on the hill for SGSC surrendering zero runs on three hits over five innings, striking out five and walking one.

Quinton Brehm started the game for FSCJ and surrendered five runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out ten. Brandon Cruz, Dalton Terrell, Jose "Gabriel" Sevillano, and Jordan Briones each entered the game as relief, throwing two innings, one inning, one inning, and one-third of an inning respectively.

Nugent led FSCJ BlueWave Baseball with two hits in four at bats.
