Late score costs BlueWave baseball as they face Daytona State in second match-up

Late score costs Florida State College at Jacksonville BlueWave against Daytona State College. 

The BlueWave stayed in it until the end, but Daytona State College pulled away late in a 7-3 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at one with the Falcons of DSC batting in the top of the eighth when Pethel's sacrifice fly scored one run for Daytona State College.

Tyler Naumann led things off on the hill for FSCJ BlueWave. He surrendered zero runs on three hits over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Jordan Briones, Quinton Brehm, and Chad Ragland each contributed in relief for FSCJ.

AJ Orrico led the BlueWave with two hits in four at bats.

Daytona State College tallied 12 hits in the game. Schumacher, Nagy, Parkhurst, and Posick all had multiple hits for the Falcons. Schumacher went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Daytona State College in hits.
