BlueWave Athletes excels in the classroom and earn FCSAA Academic Honors

The Florida State College at Jacksonville Department of Athletics is proud to announce that fifty-seven (57) student athletes have earned FCSAA Academic All-Conference honors with a 3.0 grade point average or higher. Each year the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) recognizes student athletes throughout the state for their academic efforts. In addition to FSCJ's All-Conference, forty-three (43) of those student athletes have also earned FCSAA Academic-All Region with a 3.3 or higher.

Among those recipients are nine (9) student athletes who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA for the academic year: Jordan Briones (baseball), John Bear (men's cross country), Jana Cuk (volleyball), Hannah Dugan (softball), Sam Jackson (men's basketball), Macy Mizell (softball), Leah Mortensen (volleyball), Breanna Swanson (softball), and Evan Wickeri (baseball).

"I am so incredibly proud of these student athletes who continue to excel in the classroom and athletically." stated FSCJ Director of Athletics Ginny Alexander. "In spite of having to adjust to a different academic online platform this spring, these student athletes were able to excel in their coursework".
