Pink Out match proves successful for BlueWave volleyball

The BlueWave Volleyball team hosted the Annual Pink Out Breast Cancer Awareness match last night against Florida Gateway College.

The FSCJ volleyball team doned their pink uniforms in honor of those affected by breast cancer. The first match ended in a 26-16 win for the BlueWave, followed by two more wins of 25-8 and 25-18. FSCJ would add another win to their season as the match game to an end after a 3-0 victory.

The BlueWave were led by Marine Angely's 15 Kill performance, she was followed closely by Jana Cuk with 11 kills. Krystal Santiago added 16 digs and Leah Mortensen recorded 19 assists.

FSCJ volleyball moves to 9-6 for the season and 3-1 in conference play before heading into their final round of conference action this Friday in Pensacaola. The BlueWave will then return home on Tuesday October 14th at 6:00pm to take on the Daytona State Falcons.
