Abigail Quinn Signs with FSCJ Women’s Basketball
The Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) women's basketball team is excited to announce the signing of Abigail Quinn to the 2025-2026 roster. A dynamic dual-sport athlete, Abby brings versatility, leadership, and a competitive spirit that will strengthen the Manta Rays program both on and off the court.
Hailing from Dr. Joaquin García High School, Abby excelled in basketball and flag football throughout high school. On the basketball court, she's been a varsity team member since the 6th grade and served as team captain for six seasons — in middle school (6th–8th) and again in 9th, 10th, and 12th grade. One of her proudest moments came on senior night, when she nearly achieved a triple-double.
In addition to her basketball achievements, Abby has shined in flag football. She was nominated for Athlete of the Week and currently ranks 1st in receiving yards in Class 2A District 14 with an impressive 922 yards. Her playmaking abilities have earned her Player of the Game honors four times this season.
"I chose FSCJ because I felt like it was a perfect fit for me. Although it was my only offer at the time, I realized it had what I wanted, and it was close to home," Abby shared. "I'm most excited to play with very talented girls from all over. I am also excited to showcase my skills to my coaches, teammates, and myself. I am extremely excited to be playing for Coach Eaton because she represents exactly what I have been looking for in a coach."
Head Coach Jessica Eaton is equally enthusiastic about the addition. "We're thrilled to welcome Abby to the Manta Rays family," said Coach Eaton. "She's a hard worker with a high basketball IQ, and we're confident she'll make an immediate impact both on and off the court. She's the type of player who makes everyone around her better."
Abby's passion for competition and commitment to growth make her a strong addition to FSCJ's student-athlete community. As she prepares to begin her collegiate journey, she looks forward to continuing her development and helping the Manta Rays reach new heights.
