
FSCJ's Tanaujeah Brown named FCSAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Florida State College at Jacksonville women's basketball player Tanaujeah Brown was selected as the Region 8 / FCSAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Brown, a freshman guard from Eustis High School, had a spectacular showing last week versus Beacon College and Central Carolina Community College.
Tanaujeah Brown went 8 for 11 from the floor and was 2 for 4 from the 3 point line, tallying a 22 point game in FSCJ's win over Beacon College. Versus Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, North Carolina, she amassed a 35 point performance to help her team to a 80-37 win. Brown went 6 for 7 from the floor, 7 for 9 from the 3 point line, 2-2 from the freethrow line, grabbed 5 boards, handed out 3 assists and snagged 3 steals.
Brown's overall recent performance has helped guide the team to a 3-0 run before heading into Saturdays' road conference game versus Palm Beach State College.
