The Florida State College at Jacksonville women's basketball team is set to host the 1stAnnual FSCJ Women's Basketball Thanksgiving Classic Nov 17-18th.

FSCJ will play host to three visiting programs including conference rival and Region 8 NJCAA D2 Conference Champions Palm Beach State College. Traveling from North Carolina is NJCAA D2 Catawba Valley Community College and the NJCAA D1 visiting Spartanburg Methodist College hails from South Carolina.

Day one has the Cougars of Palm Beach State College facing Catawba Valley Redhawks at 4:00 p.m. Friday. Shortly after at 6:00 p.m., FSCJ will tip off against the Pioneers of Spartanburg Methodist.

Saturday action resumes at 12:00 p.m. when Palm Beach State College takes on Spartanburg Methodist College. Immediately following at 2:00 p.m., FSCJ will wrap up the Thanksgiving Classic against NJCAA D2 foe Catawba Valley in the final game. 

Cost of admission is $10.00. All FSCJ faculty, staff and FSCJ students with ID will be free.
