Softball picks up 6-3 win over St. Johns River in game two

Determined to pick up the win against St. Johns River in game two, the BlueWave came out swinging. Crossing the plate twice in the first inning, the BlueWave took an early lead until SJR soon took control. They would score one run in the botom of the first and then continue to surge forward adding another two runs to take the lead 3-2 over the BlueWave. 

The fourth inning told another tale when the BlueWave of FSCJ would take over the lead scoring fours runs before the inning was done. Caitlyn Berry homered on a 3-1 count scoring three runs before her teammate Madison Williams launched a solo homerun to seal the win. The BlueWave stole this one away 6-3.

 

FSCJ's Hannah Dugan toed the rubber while her team tallied 12 hits on the day. Breanna Swanson, Tori Richardson and Berry all had multiple hits for FSCJ.
