Lakehawks answer back in game two

Lake Sumter State College was amped and ready to avenge their first game loss to the BlueWave in game two.

The Lakehawks fired up the offense in the first inning starting off scoring when a single drove in a run. FSCJ evened things up at one in the top of the third inning when Joely Leguizamon singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Naomi Olacio and Payton Mahon each went deep in the top of the fourth inning to help FSCJ take the lead at 3-1. Lakehawks determined to not let this game slip away added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth then added another two in the bottom of the fifth to eventually claim the victory, slipping the doubleheader on the day.  

Hannah Dugan started the game for FSCJ and Caitlyn Berry threw one inning in relief. FSCJ hit two home runs on the day from Olacio and Mahon with Breanna Swanson going 2-for-3 at the plate to lead FSCJ in hits.
