BlueWave softball sweeps double header

In game two of the double header with St. Johns River State College the BlueWave picked up a 10-2 win on Tuesday.

FSCJ fired up the offense in the first inning scoring two runs when Payton Mahon singled ending the inning with three runs on the scoreboard. The Vikings worked to answer back with a solo home run to record a run in the books. The BlueWave in the bottom of the fourth would add two additional runs before St. John's would tally one more run off a deep hit ball over the fence. FSCJ would go on to secure the win in the bottom of the fifth notching five more runs of the bats of Payton Mahon, Naomi Olacio and Madison Macik.

Hannah Dugan was the winning pitcher for FSCJ surrendering two runs on three hits over five innings. Olacio, Richardson, Mahon and Macik all collected multiple hits to assist the BlueWave in victory.
