Last inning error gives Polk the lead

In the final game of the day the BlueWave faced Polk State again for the third time this season. The BlueWave have split notches in the win column which leads to believe this meeting will be exciting. 

Florida State College at Jacksonville was ready and fired up their offense in the first inning. An an error by Polk State assisted the BlueWave in crossing players over home plate for three runs. FSCJ's Payton Mahon launched a homer in the fourth to give the BlueWave a 5-4 lead going into the top of the seventh. The BlueWave then had an error that led to Polk State scoring two runs to seal the deal.

Caitlyn  Berry was on the rubber for Florida State College at Jacksonville Blue Wave Varsity. She went seven innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and striking out three. Berry, Young, Mahon, Williams, Richardson, Jaeger and Swanson each collected one hit to lead the BlueWave.
