In game one of the JUCO Kick-Off softball tournament the BlueWave faced Florida Southwestern State College.

FSCJ fell behind early and struggled to make a come back falling 4-2 in a loss to the Buccaneers on Friday.  The FSW Buccaneers took the lead in the first inning off a three run homer. FSCJ sophomore pitcher Caitlyn Berry led things off in the circle for FSCJ. 

The BlueWave of Florida State College at Jacksonville knocked out one home run on the day. Madison Williams drove the ball deep in the sixth inning. Madison Macik, Payton Mahon, Madison Williams and Joely Leguizamon all had one hit to lead FSCJ.
