FSCJ Cross Country opens up season with Daytona State Beach Relay

The Florida State College at Jacksonville men and women's cross-country teams travel to Daytona Beach to compete in the season opening Daytona State Beach Relay on Friday, August 26th.

The 2022 women's cross country roster for the BlueWave includes returning athletes, Meghan Bonser, Abigail Gray, and Faith Harrold. They will be joined by incoming Lynn Winkler (Atlantic Coast High), Whitney Mathis and Kayleigh McWatters (Middleburg High) Zandi Pienaar (Wilson High, West Lawn,PA).

The men's team will be led by sophomores Brennan Popik and Adrian Figueroa and joining them will be Jaxon Mckim (Nease High School) Noe Benitez (Orange Park High), Luke Williams (Bishop Kenny) Corey Rhoads (Middleburg High) Nicholas Terry (Ed White High).

"This is the best group of athletes we've recruited since we re-started the program in 2017", stated Coach Hale who will be entering his 6th season leading the BlueWave cross country program. "We are super excited to be opening the season on the beach in Daytona and to see how we measure up."
