
Men Climb To Number 8 In Latest NJCAA Poll
The third official national poll of the NJCAA's basketball regular season was released Monday afternoon. The FSCJ Men's Basketball Team (9-0) moved up one spot after their 2-0-week vs NJCAA Division-I opponents and are now ranked as the #8 team in the country.
Originally ranked #22 in the preseason poll on October 23rd, the FSCJ Men's Basketball Team has climbed 14 spots to their new #8 ranking. They hosted the Saints of Santa Fe College on November 20th—winning by 18—before next hosting the Titans of St. Petersburg College Saturday afternoon and winning a close contest by 3. FSCJ currently boasts the second most wins of any team in the country and has 5 victories over NJCAA Division-I opponents—more than any team in the rankings. FSCJ has defeated their Division-I opponents by an average of 20.8-point scoring margin. The climb to #8 now marks the new highest ranking FSCJ Men's Basketball has achieved.
The men's basketball team hosts North Florida Preparatory Tuesday evening at 7:30pm before enjoying a 4-day break for Thanksgiving. After the holiday, FSCJ returns to action December 6th for the last game of their homestand versus Division-I national powerhouse Florida Southwestern State College.
