FSCJ Men’s Basketball headed to Alabama to Compete in District Gulf South Championship
 

The Florida State College at Jacksonville's (FSCJ) Men's Basketball team advances to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Gulf South District Championship.

FSCJ will be traveling to Bay Minette, Alabama to compete in the Gulf South District Championship hosted by Coastal Alabama- South Community College. There they will face the Region 22 Championship winner Snead State Community College (25-6) on Saturday, March 9th at 3:00 p.m. Central Time, 4:00 p.m Eastern Standard Time.

FSCJ (24-8) won the Florida College System Activities Association (FSCAA) Division II NJCAA Region 8 Men's Basketball Championship last weekend, defeating the No. 3 seed, Florida Gateway College 80-70. This is FSCJ's first Region 8 title in College history.

The winner of the NJCAA Gulf South District Championship will head to Danville, Illinois to compete in the NJCAA Dll National Championship.

Reminder that there is a time change and tip off is set for 4:00 p.m. (EST) / 3:00 p.m. (Central). Coastal Alabama - South Community College is the host college and the gym is located in the Jack Robertson Arena-Building G, 1914 Faculty Rd. in Bay Minette, Alabama.
