FSCJ Volleyball Gives Back To Jacksonville Humane Society

FSCJ Volleyball Gives Back To Jacksonville Humane Society

The Florida State College at Jacksonville volleyball team spent this past Thursday volunteering at the Jacksonville Humane Society.

This is the second time this semester that the team volunteered with the local animal shelter located right down the street from South Campus. The group had the opportunity to walk 50+ adoptable dogs and help them stretch their legs on the morning stroll. The dogs received plenty of attention and love during the time spent there.

"I love coming out to the humane society to help the dogs and getting to see all the different breeds and their personalities." said freshman volleyball player, Laine Tohal. "My hope is someday they get adopted to a loving family."

The Jacksonville Humane Society is always looking for volunteers. If interested, check out the links below on how you can volunteer or experience a Doggy Day Out.
