FSCJ's Nicolette Ramos named Honorable Mention All-American by NJCAA

The Florida State College at Jacksonville BlueWave volleyball program is excited to announce that sophomore outside hitter Nicolette Ramos has been named Honorable Mention All-American by the NJCAA for the 2018 season.

Nicolette Ramos, a Jacksnoville native who attended Sandalwood High School, helped lead the BlueWave volleyball team to a 3rd place finish in the FCSAA Region VIII NJCAA Tournament.  She led the BlueWave and Region VIII this season in kills per set at 4.09 (6th nationally), points per set at 4.8 (6th nationally) and total kills for the season at 421 (17th nationally).  Earlier in the fall, Ramos was selected to First Team All-Conference and also made the All-Region VIII Team for the second year in a row. 

Ramos is currently undecided on her next step collegiately for volleyball. She has already earned her Associate of Arts degree from FSCJ and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at FSCJ.
