The Florida State College at Jacksonville BlueWave volleyball team has much to be proud about.
The Florida College System Activities Association Athletics (FCSAA) released post season honors for the 2018 volleyball season.
Sophomore Nicolette Ramos was named the Panhandle Conference Volleyball Player of the Year and was also selected to First Team All-Conference along with several of her teammates.
Ramos is joined by Sophomore Middle Hitter Karen Morales (Carmela Larrain Infante/Santiago, Chile), Freshman Libero Krystal Santiago (Academia Santa Teresita/Corozal, Puerto Rico), and Freshman Connie Andujar (Bayamon Military Academy/Toa Alta, Puerto Rico) as First Team All-Conference selections. While Freshman Setter Iveanie Galio (Guamani Private School/Patillas, Puerto Rico) earned 2nd Team All-Conference.

Congratulations to BlueWave volleyball and good luck as they head to the Region VIII tournament. The NJCAA Regional/District Tournament will be held this week in Bradenton, Florida. The team will play St. Petersburg College at 10am on Friday, November 2nd.
