FSCJ men's team enters the national poll in the final week before nationals in the 19th position

Due to Florida State College at Jacksonville men's cross country team's strong performances at the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 and Mid-Florida Conference Cross Country Championships, the men's team entered the USTFCCCA NJCAA rankings at #19.

The women's team finished ahead of the College of Central Florida for the 3rd time this season. CCF has been ranked as high as 19th this season.

"We've had a very successful post season with our men and women's teams as runner-ups in the Mid-Florida Conference," said FSCJ cross country coach, Jody Hale. "We finished in 3rd place in the FCSAA/ NJCAA Region 8 championships for the men's team and 5th place in the Region for the women's team. NJCAA Region 8 is the Power Region in the country with 4 men's and 6th women's teams ranked nationally in the UCTFCCCA NJCAA Top 25. These two teams have really begun to race as a cohesive units, they are headed in the right direction at the right time of the season."
