BlueWave Men and Women’s Basketball Sophomore Day is set Feb. 22nd

The Florida State College at Jacksonville men and women's basketball teams are set to host Santa Fe College on Saturday, February 22. This will be both squad's home finale and a night to celebrate the teams sophomores for their commitment to BlueWave Athletics. It will be a big night for the BlueWave teams who will be competing in a key Mid-Florida Conference game on Sophomore Night. "It will be the last time our sophomores will be on our court and we want to send them off with a win and protect our court,"  Florida State College at Jacksonville women's basketball coach David S. Lowery said.

Sophomores for the women's team include Kayla Bell, Valicia Demeritte, Danika Hamilton, Asia Harden, and Joseline Ramos and for the men's team Samuel Jackson, Kedarrious Tinker, Loro Natana and Eddie Davis. Sophomores will be honored at halfcourt immediately following the conclusion of the game on Saturday.

Tipoff is slated for 2 p.m. for the women and 4 p.m. for the men as the BlueWave and Saints battle for the 3rd time this season.
