Bats for FSCJ help to pull off late lead over Palm Beach 7-5

In game two of the Polk Tournament, Florida State College at Jacksonville faced Palm Beach State College.

Palm Beach jumped on the early lead in the second inning when Palm Beach hit a single to drive a run in. With Palm Beach's bats still alive they continued on with three more runners crossing the plate with RBI's in the inning., giving Palm Beach a 4-0 lead. 

The fourth inning fell into FSCJ's favor when their swings started connecting and took hold to push the BlueWave into the lead at 5-4. The offensive onslaught came from a triple by Joely Leguizamon, a sac fly by Hannah Dugan, Tori Richardson and a fielder's choice by Naomi Olacio. In the bottom of the fifth Palm Beach answered back to tie thing up off a single. With the game tied at five with FSCJ batting in the top of the eighth. Palm Beach State pitcher induced Amelia Olive into hitting a fielder's choice that scored another run.

Hannah Dugan was in the circle for FSCJ lasting seven innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out one. The BlueWave saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game.  Olive and Williams each collected multiple hits to lead the BlueWave.
