For the 2^nd time this season freshman Brennan Popik took over the #1 stop and lead Adrian Figueroa, John Bear, Drew Stone and Lucas VanGinkel to an 8^th place finish on the hot and hilly xc course at Embry Riddle University. Brennan and Adrian moved to 5^th and 7^th on the BlueWave All-Time Top 10 list with Saturday's performance.

Women's team Captain Hannah Ziegler led the women with a PR performance and an 8^th place finish on the course famous for being the most challenging in the state. Hannah was followed closely by Hailey Smith, who also turned in a PR performance. For the 2^nd week in a row freshman Meghan Bonser lit the fuse on the best kick of the meet and XC rookie Faith Harrold also ran a PR.  "No one runs a PR on this course, it's too hard. We had 3 women PR on this course today…absolutely awesome!" commented Head Coach Jody Hale.

Next week the BlueWave travels to University of Central Florida to compete in the UCF Knight's Cross-Country Invitational.
