FSCJ Volleyball Serves the Jacksonville Community

FSCJ Volleyball Serves the Jacksonville Community

The Florida State College at Jacksonville volleyball team took time to give back to the Jacksonville community during the busy holiday season.

Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child or senior adult has been registered and accepted as an Angel their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in your community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. The gifts are then distributed to the families to place under their family's Christmas trees.

Members of the volleyball team assisted with filling those boxes for distribution from the listed gathered. They distributed stockings and toys, organized clothes and created duplicating lists to assist the Angel Tree program. FSCJ was thrilled to have been a part of such an amazing Christmas project that is giving back to over 3,000 kids in our region.
