Women's basketball assists in making strides with First Coast Heart Walk

Florida State College at Jacksonville women's basketball program joined the fight against heart disease on Saturday September 15th.

For the second time, the BlueWave women's basketball team aided in raising awareness for the American Heart Association. The annual First Coast Heart Walk, celebrating their 25th Anniversary, was held at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, FL. The FSCJ women's team completed a 3.1 mile walk/run in support of those who survived heart disease and to help raise funds for research and care.
