Coach Jerry V. Whitaker serves as the Assistant Softball Batting Coach for Florida State College at Jacksonville BlueWave Softball.

Whitaker is a 35-year coaching veteran, who came to FSCJ after spending the past 35 years coaching and teaching in Clay and Duval County School Systems at various levels from junior high, high school, and pre-entry level for college. 

Coach Whitaker is directly responsible for working with the BlueWave’s outfield and hitting. He also helps with head administrative duties such as budget, scheduling, and recruitment.
