6-4 loss give Seminole State the doubleheader win

After losing in the first game versus Semiole State College of Florida, the BlueWave were out to capture the second game.

FSCJ got their offense started early in the first inning when Payton Mahon drove in three runs off a double and then another crossed the plate before ending the inning. Seminole launched a four bagger in the first inning to get on the board. In the third inning Seminole scored three runs with the help of FSCJ's error that helped two cross the plate to tie things up at four. With FSCJ unable to convert runs, the Seminoles added two more runs in the fifth to claim the 6-4 win of the doubleheader.

FSCJ stayed in it until the end and lost despite out-hitting Seminole State, eight to six. The BlueWave's eight hits came from Breanna Swanson, Joely Leguizamon and Payton Mahon. Swanson went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead FSCJ in hits. Hannah Dugan was on the rubber for Florida State College at Jacksonville.
