Saturday the BlueWave of Florida State College at Jacksonville softball team faced the Saints of Santa Fe College. Game one of two proved to be a heartbreaker as FSCJ lost a late lead to fall to the Saints. 

FSCJ made a statement in the first inning when Payton Mahon hit her first grand slam of the season driving in four runs. The bats for the BlueWave would then go silent for the remainder of the game as the Saints would pick up a run in the fourth, two more in the fifth and then seal the 5-4 loss in the sixth after adding two more runs.  

Caitlyn  Berry was in the pitcher's circle for Florida State College at Jacksonville Blue Wave. FSCJ socked one home run on the day with Mahon's long ball in the first inning. Mahon, Madison Williams, Madison Macik and Joely Leguizamon each collected one hit for the BlueWave.
