Guinyard Picks up Third FCSAA Player of the Week Award

Florida State College at Jacksonville men's basketball player Tarence Guinyard was selected as the FCSAA Region 8 Player of the Week for DII. This marks Guinyard's third award this season.

Guinyard, a sophomore and second-year starter, is a Tampa, FL native who graduated from Riverside High School here in Jacksonville in 2022. He earned All-Central Conference First Team for FSCJ last season and has improved in virtually every statistical category this season. He is one of two returners to the FSCJ men's basketball program this season. The FSCJ men's basketball team has a record of 13-5 in non-conference and begin Region 8 conference play next week.

Scoring 31 points, grabbing five rebounds, and adding five steals, Guinyard led the team to a hard-fought road victory over Andrew College on Wednesday evening.
