A balanced attack helped leads the BlueWave to victory in the home finale in triple overtime. FSCJ was led in scoring by the freshman backcourt duo of Tarence Guinyard 23 points, and Caleb Paige 22 points.
Both teams had numerous opportunities to win the contest, but Caleb's 3-pointer in the third overtime ultimately put the BlueWave up for good.
The game also included career-high performances from Zion Reed with 20 points and Roderick Gardner with 17 points and 14 rebounds, both career highs. Despite foul trouble, Joshua Paige chipped 10 points.
The BlueWave hit the road on Wednesday, February 22, against Daytona State in Daytona Beach at 7:30 pm.
