Central Florida early lead escapes BlueWave

FSCJ BlueWave Baseball hosted College of Central Florida Patriots in Jacksonville.

College of Central Florida Patriots took the lead early in the first inning when the Patriots grounded into a double play, but still managed to knock in one run. The Patriots scored another three runs in the fifth inning off two doubles and a sac fly while the BlueWave added one ot the scoreboard. Sixth inning recorded another three runs for Cf and then again one in the top of the eighth. FSCJ notched three more runs in the bottom of the eighth inning off a home run by Trey Spratling-Williams. The Patriot would cross the plate two more times and pull the win away from FSCJ with a score of 10-5.

Quinton Brehm toed the rubber for the BlueWave lasting four and two-thirds innings.e. Athanasi Obeius, Dillon Richardson, Collin Weghorst, and Brandon Cruz each entered the game as relief. FSCJ hit one home run on the day when Spratling-Williams had a four bagger in the seventh inning.
